The Cebu South Harbor and Container Terminal Services Corp. (CSHCTSC) is planning to construct the 10 BILLION 25 hectare International Port that will cater containers and break bulk cargo operations. It will be strategically located in Talisay City, Cebu, Philippines, south of Cebu. It will compliment the future International port in Tayud, Consolacion, Cebu, Philippines which is on the north. If everything goes perfectly well, it will strike a balance on the movement of goods all throughout Cebu and its neighboring islands. It is expected that with the two new additional bigger ports in combined operations, a significant impact on the road conditions across Cebu metropolis will be experienced by the Cebuanos.

Everyone is now excited to see the new container port located in Tayud, Consolacion, Cebu, Philipines to be brought to operations. This 500-meter berth length in a 25-hectare reclaimed island is expected to bring a lot of business and employment opportunities to the Cebuanos and the neighboring islands. 

More than the opportunities, is the space it brought along would mean a lot due to the increasing demand for more space that has extremely rose brought about by the economic growth happening in the region. 

The transport industry is looking forward to see more exciting benefits brought about by the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the future port considering the more spacious working space it will have. Some people are also praying that it will also bring direct impact on the worsening traffic condition in Cebu.
